Tickets are on sale now for the annual Grand Taste at Maui County Agricultural Festival scheduled Saturday, April 1, from 2:30 pm – 4:30 pm.
Plan to come early to wind down with your favorite Maui beverage and to plan your tastings from the 12 booth stations featuring 12 Maui locavore chefs serving tastings centred around one local ingredient. Tickets $30 if purchased online by March 31 or $40 at the door, on the day of the event.
Meet Maui’s top locavore chefs inclulding – Jeff Scheer, The Mill House Restaurant at Maui Tropical Plantation; Anton Haines, Merriman’s Kapalua; Charlie Owen, Hula Grill Ka’anapali; Jesse Pita, Pulehu, an Italian Grill at The Westin Ka’anapali Ocean Resort Villas; David Viviano, Cane & Canoe at Montage Kapalua; Chris Lederer, Black Rock at Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa; Travis Morrin, Three’s Bar & Grilll; Gevin Utrillo, Japengo at Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa; Tylun Pang, Ko at The Fairmont Kea Lani, Maui, Alvin Savella, The Banyan Tree at The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua; Chris Schobel, Fat Daddy’s Smokehouse and Mike Lofaro, Humuhumunukunukuapua’a at Grand Wailea.
